Comparable to a noble hop due to its aromatic characteristics, it is very popular among American breweries. Liberty is a sterile triploid variety, born from the cross between Mittelfruh and a selected resistant male. Present on the market for about thirty years, it prefers acidic and well-drained soils. Very resistant to the worst root diseases, and also to Pseudoperonospora, it looks like a plant with moderate yields. Early ripening.
