Galena is one of the most widely used bittering hop varieties in the US. It has a fruity aromatic profile with pleasant citrus traits. When used in late hopping, it seems to amplify notes of black currant. Urban legend has it that Galena is the hops used in the popular Corona beer. Intermediate ripening.
