A cross between Galena and a German male. The delicate aroma with fruity and floral tones is accentuated in Italy, making it interesting also as an aroma hops.
Typically used in German-style beers, mainly for bitterness, Magnum is one of the most cultivated varieties in Germany for its excellent productivity and disease resistance.
